And … we’re back.
Thanks for being patient with us. Kim and I have taken the last 5 months off from the blog to hang out with our new kiddo. As with any major life change, it took time to rebalance and find our new equilibrium. But we’ve started to find our rhythm and now feels like the right time to stage our comeback.
A new(ish) plan.
This is what you can expect: We’ll be coming back slowly, posting every 2 weeks. Once we feel we have a handle on that, we’ll ramp up to once a week again. We’ve started to play around with a camera, and we’d like to start introducing video before too long, so stay tuned for that!
As usual, we’ll continue to focus on personal development and the training requirements for high-performance rock climbing.
As well as discussing the physical aspects of training, we’ll continue to emphasize mental training, including mindset, psychology, attitudes, and habits that will allow you to achieve your potential as a rock climber.
After all, what good is a training program if you don’t have the drive to do it? Anyone can climb hard if they work at it, but we want to help you enjoy the process.

Until now, this blog has been centered on my personal reflections on rock climbing and training. Moving forward, we’d like to encourage more conversation.
If you have a topic that you’d like me to cover, have a question about your training, or are feeling stuck in your training, or in any area of personal development, please leave a comment below. Or you can email me directly (erich@erichsachs.com) and I will answer your questions in a future post.
Thanks for showing up.
